What happens during an erectile dysfunction assessment?
A clinician usually asks about onset, firmness, duration, desire, ejaculation, morning erections, medicines, alcohol, smoking, mental health and relationships. Examination and selected blood tests may assess vascular, hormonal or metabolic contributors.
